Every baby has a cute, but bad picture:

These are my cute babies, both looking a little under the influence. Must be the Similac...

Thru the eyes of a 2 year old:

Our Christmas tree, finally decorated and ready for the Jolly Man!
Mommy being lazy on a Saturday morning, still in PJ's Cash-ey getting his fist almost all the way in his mouth Daddy, home from hunting, making Madie's duck call lanyard

Would you like some cookie with that?

This last Friday night we hosted the first annual Burns Family Cookie Party. (It was a good time, so I think it needs to be the first of many to come!) Thanks everyone for coming- you all made it a BLAST! And those that weren't able to make it this year, hopefully next year we'll see you in all your cookie decorating glory! As usual, I didn't get any pictures at the event, but I got one morning after picture of Madie's mound of icing, sprinkles, and believe it or not, there is a cookie or two under it all! Thanks again everyone for making it such a fun time, and also a HUGE thanks to Grandma who shipped the cookies from Texas with Love, and Grandpa for snagging a folding table and some chairs from the primary room even though "do not remove from the primary room" was written all over it! Yall are the best!

It must run in the family...

I can't believe how much this little dude loves to jump! He has sure put the jumperoo to good use (just like his big sister). This little guy will wake up and want to jump first thing in the morning, and when we get him out to hold him, he is still jumping in our arms!
I think he must get it from his big sister...

Who is still a jumpin' fool!

(p.s. being naked is no a requirement for jumping- I can't believe the only pictures I have of BOTH my children in the jumperoo are of them with no clothes on. I promise I actually dress them!)

It's a baby....

PUMPKIN.
We've been a little busy lately, so I'm just now getting around to introducing yall to "Baby Pumpkin." For Halloween we had a pumpkin decorating party for Madie's friends. Madie and Daddy went out the day of the party to get pumpkins for everyone, and Madie came home with her baby pumpkin, which started the trend of everything little being called "baby ___."
