We had a minor fender bender here at the Burns' Cafe this morning. Madie has thought for a while now that it is fun to play with the soup cans on the bottom shelf of the pantry, and I guess I thought that it was fun for her to be happy while playing with the cans of soup. Well, that all ended for both of us today when she dropped a can right-smack-dab in the middle of her big toe, and it got big and bright red with a purple toe nail within seconds. She's doing better now, and enjoying being pampered today because I feel bad letting her get into the pantry in the first place.
